speaker pop with idle drop!!!!
ok so i did the diode mod and everything worked perfectly. But after i hooked the battery back up at idle there is a 30rpm idle up and down that when kthis happens the stereo speakers make a small barely noticable pop noise. also my vacum goes to 22 then back to 20. and the volt meter moves stlightly. this all happens together at the same time. its f'in anoying and drivin me crazy!!
any input is great!
thanks

I would be checking the output of the alternator at the battery with a voltmeter. More often than not when you have radio interference and battery problems the alternator is on its way out.
It should have a constant voltage of at least 13.8V or higher with the engine running.

A MAF or Throttle body isn't gonna have anything to do with radio interference.
What is the exact voltage using a voltmeter (NOT THE ONE ON THE DASH!) at the battery say when the engine is running. Being above 12 is BAD. You need to be around 14.
