Default Source for radiator petcock/drain plug?

Neither the Volks or Audi dealer that i went to today listed a radiator drain plug for my 98 A4 1.8t. Neither thought it had one, until i mentioned i used it several times today. The "Haynes" manual says theres one too. Anyway, anyone know where to buy one?

What about a magnetic 26mm engine oil drain plug?

I think thats only available with the radiator. Personally i never use it as its easier and faster to use either the lower rad hose or the coolant temp sensor. Why do you need one?

Thanks for the reply, mine was stripped out sorta. Someone put green anti-freeze in their, so i changed it out last week. Good to know about the temp sender though, i'll look for that if have to go back in there. (GOD I HOPE NOT!)

Sure you can use green stuff in the radiator. In 3 years when everything has corroded, then you can buy replacement parts.
