and this was the fix for this poster....
But yeah, just wanted to let everybody know that I found the leak today... got that smoke thing done -- it was the L shaped hose (1/2" diameter) coming off the intake. Had a crack on the inside of the 90 degree bend... was about 2" long. Put on some generic half inch hose, and all is well in the world! 200 hp feels good, for now... jeebus. I musta been at like 140 hp before... lol, it was sad.

Heat soak just means its so hot outside, like 95+, that the intercooler is not reallycooling the charge air very much, and the turbo does not seem to have as much power.

Coming from the DSM and SUBIE community we usually considered it heatsoak when an intercooler has passed it's efficiency area. Not necessarily how warm it is outside, but if teh turbo is flowing too much air for the intercooler to be efficientm that's when heatsoak happens. I supposeit is somewhat of a broad term.
