Default So what if it jumped to 70mm?

Hey guys, searched this already...nothin came up.

What if by the use of magic....the throttle body on the 2.8L 30v gained 10-20mm in diameter?

What do you think would happen?

not only 1.8ts.. but all EVO's and Supra's will be running scared from your beastly 2.8 w/70mm throttle body

ok, ok, in all seriousness..

the 2.8 isn't really choking on it's small TB. it breathes just fine for it's displacement and current intake.. FWIW, the 5.7L Hemi uses a 80mm TB and pushes 350BHP.the new 6.4L hemi uses a 90mm TB. stock it pumps out 505bhp out of that.. so no, you don't need a bigger TB unless you go crazy forced induciton.. which your motor can't handle anyways
