So right about now that small turning off on me problem went full blown. It takes about 20-30 minutes to start the car now. I took it to audi and they "couldnt duplicate the problem." They had the car for 3 days, the day after I get it back I managed to get the problem, and they couldnt in 3 days?
The linkage in my door broke, so I got that repaired, parts and labor came to 514 dollars... somehow the labor was 402 dollars to replace a lock and the cable inside.(Is this BS?)
Then the diagnosis cost 115 dollars. They found "Many noises from engine compartment. Tested boost pressure, supposedely my turbo is going bad because im running at 15lbs of boost, they said I should be at 22 (WTF BULLSHIT!)
They found a turbo manifold bolt to be loose, and tightened it for "free". They found the Cam tensioner seals and gaskets leaking, and the valve cover gasket to be leaking.

Im facing this question, should I just fix the ECU/ electric problem and keep it or get it of it? I love the car, just right now its really pissing me off.

I took care of the deformed mirror, and the rusted door sills.

What do you guys think?

 

The shut off problem... does that occur once the car is at temperature or when cool?

Today my day cannot get any worse, while waiting for the eletric specialist to arrive to diagnose my car my car is side swiped by a van, I didnt noticed, I noticed that the car was hit after the guy drove off. I have rear fender damage, I need a new tail light, repaint of bumper, and fender work.. I am just blessed by this car.

just keep pluggin gettin stuff fixed and eventually it will be beautiful, insurance should cover the side swipe

in terms of the leaks, there are writeups on the DIY section on how to fix your valve cover leak, i dont kno about the tensioner tho.

you should invest in a bentley's manual, i bought mine for 80 buks and it has payed for itself twice over in just 6 months

look under cold start problems... one of these is probally your problem

 

sounds like you're having a rough day or week or whatever. hope things work out for you buddy. i know what it's like to have **** hit the fan. but hang in there, things will work itself out in the end!!

An Update, So they're repainting the whole bumper (Yay!) And all the other damaged area's, they already ordered the new tail light assembly and light bulbs, im going to get them to repaint my hood since it has a blemish on it hehe.
