Let me tell ya, those "one time" clamps are a mo'fo to get off!! but well worth the effort. I'm only repeating what other people already knew about changing out their N75 valve. Boost comes on much faster, feels like more boost is being made thoughout the rev range and only at $75 a pop. The best bang for the buck I've spent in awhile.

how difficult was it to change out? im going to do mine on Monday. Did u get the N75J from the dealer or parts store?

 

The only difficult task is removing the factory clamps. I had to cut them out with some metal cutters, but carefully so that I didn't damage the hoses.

Yea those clamps are gay and you can get the valve from the dealer for alot less man priced one at like $55

 

Lucky you. I wish they priced it at $55 here. The dealer wanted over $100.

 

I got myself an EVOMS DV and put it on. Those damn clamps were a pain in my ****** fuc*ing ***!!!! . But eventually they came off. i got mine for i think shipped and everything - $100. =)

 

i can get a greddy boost conttroller for fairly cheap, would it be worth getting over the N75J?

 

I'm curious. How many different N75 valves are there? And are certain ones better for certain years?

 

I thought they didn't work on B6 cars
