Smoke when starting engine

Smoke when starting engine
I have an A4 2.8 tiptronic with 130000kms on the clock. Recently I've been getting quite a lot of smoke when starting the engine specifically after it's been standing for a while. The smoke continues for a few minutes while idling then it is almost nothing. The smoke is a blue colour which indicates it might be oil.
Any ideas where I can start looking? I thought maybe it's the valve seals?
Any advise appreciated.

RE: Smoke when starting engine
Definately a valve seal issue IMO. Especially since it goes away once the oil in the cylinder is burned off.
