RE: slap some sence into me??
You think the Audi is bad on gas, wait till you stomp on the gas in the Jeep. Worse mileage and worse acceleration. Then all that road noise from the knobby tires....SHUDDER!
Actually my Dad had a Cherokee and drove it up to about 280k miles I think. He just got a newer one and sold his old one. He loves them. I couldn't drive it, but if thats what you are into....

Get a regular cherokee, not the grand....coming from someone who has owned both. Late 90's with a 4.0 were best. I would regularly get 18-21 on back road commutes and 20-24 hwy mpg. I beat the ever living life out of mine over the 90k miles I had it (total of 128k) and it always came back for more. Only had to replace brakes once , tires twice and a window switch which only cost me $50 from the dealer. Cheaper to fix and easy to find parts for. But I am a fan of Jeeps and a recent German auto convert, so what do I know.

Don't smoke crack, weed, and drink at the same time. You are starting to have delusions.
Here is your simple solution:
keep the audi, and find a cheap jeep to play around in the mud with.
According to Lauren5757, it should be real cheap.....
plus, jeeps are pos
the minute you buy it, it decreases in value like 50%.... drive it 10,000 miles..... there goes another 50% off that
So, 50% of, then another 50% off, you should be able to find one with 10000 miles or more for like.....nothing. Or maybe a little more than that.

I really love my A4, however I miss my truck.
I went from an '03 North Face Edition Avalanche to the audi. Man I could drive over villages with that thing and not feel a bump. Didnt have to worry about curb rash on my rims cause the tires were so huge, had the body cladding all around so I laughed at shopping carts hauled an entire bedroom set in the back once and drove over any/all curbs/medians/deviders I wanted to to avoid traffic/construction/ex girlfriends or whatever.................BUT, it was crappy on gas, had the aerodynamics of a cinderblock and took turns like fat man on a tricycle but I did love it.
So I get what your feelin.

I believe the audi is here to stay.. last nighti took a 15 minute drive and counted around 15 jeep grand cherokees and only saw one audi and i dont want to be like everyone else. Also, the gas is a big issue.
Just letting everyone know that im not on crack.
