i ran my dv backwards for a long time and it worked well didnt have anyproblems and it held boost. then i got a new one

What does that mean exactly? You're not talking about taking the hose off, are you?

If so, that is quite possibly the worst thing you can do for a closed loop system like the 1.8T has... What exactly does that mean, backwards?

as with all modifications there is some risk for problems....but as i have found, the only problem is cel's....damn testpipe....

like i fliped the dv around, the intake was now the exhaust and the exhuast was the intake
