well, i'm not saying that i will but hopefully i will in the future, it's just right now if i get a 04' or an s4 my insurance would slice me in half because of my age and "clean" driving record, so i have to wait for a year or 2 before my record cleans up then i might look into it

 

Does the red stripe ("HOORAY BEER") have anything to do with the celebration package. I thought that I heard somebody say this at one point. Do all '01's have the red stripe ("HOORAY BEER")?

i think they started the red stripe before 2001, cuz my 99 1.8t with the red stripe next to it - but i dont know if it has the sport package. is there anywhere you can look up what each car has?

 

Neils right, the lil red badge means u have the 170hp motor. Its doesnt mean u have a sports pack.

 

sport steering wheel, even though it comes with the sport package, is also a separate option.
The red T badge is indeed for the reason that CL explains.
