they dont carry the one I need, I have auto dimming mirrors they dont sell them niether dose pure motorsports, going to have to call the dealer, the junk yards wont take off the mirror they want to sell the whole thing for like 185

The self dimming sh*t isn't really very good anyway.
If you can't live with the brown on the edge, just get standard glass and replace it with that. Thats what I plan on doing when my mirror gets bad enough. Right now there is not too much brown, so I can live with it. I really dont think the autodimming does much good, it just doesnt seem to be very effective, i.e the reflection in the mirror from the lights is still to damn bright!

well mine is useless to be honest its all messed up cant even see anything, thats a good point but than one is going to be different from the other I geuss is dosent make that much of a differance though and they are only 62 bucks.. goob point

Auto dimming mirror helped me last night when some jackass in a truck had his high beams on. Its defiantely a convenience, but not a necessity- i agree. You could always put a light % tint on them but that could be unsafe for daylight driving.
