Short shifter Qs

Short shifter Qs
I was looking around at a bunch of different short shifters already knowing that B and M are probably the best company to purchase a short shifter from, however I came across 2 different shifters made by B and M for my 2000 1.8t Q. I was wondering if anyone had experience with either shifter and maybe which one they thought would be better to buy. There is the B and M precision sport shifter
( http://shop.store.yahoo.com/hopup1/bmprspshaua4.html ) and the sport throw manual short shifter
( http://shop.store.yahoo.com/hopup1/bmrashthmasp11.html ). The precision sport shifter looks alittle strange to me, I dont know how it works or how good it actually is but if no one has used it or likes it then I feel that ill get the the manual sport throw shifter. What Im going for is I want to keep the smooth feeling of the stock audi shifter but I want to reduce the throw as much as I can. Any ideas?

RE: Short shifter Qs
haha glad you pointed that out audiboy! Most of us have only experienced the ones we have... but yeah, I havent heard bad things about any of them! Cept for some UUC short shifter or something... I think that's what it is called. I was reading on audiworld and that thing was not getting any love.
