Seized the engine?

RE: Seized the engine?
You might try removing the spark plugs and pouring motor oil into the combustion chambers. Do not replace the plugs and let it sit an hour or two. Then try to turn it over by hand or starter motor. Good luck.

Your engine is toast, period. Try to find another one using car-part.com, maybe there's a totaled A4 near you with a good engine.
For a used engine I'd think at least a grand. The install will be much more than that, even from an independent shop. Expect a $4,000-5,000 bill.

The front lower is also damaged, that will need to be replaced. What is the price range on those? And I also need the piece that covers the towing threads in the front bumper, Triple A tow truck driver took the liberty of taking it off anf not puttin it back on. Can I Get those covers from Audi prepainted or what?

RE: Seized the engine?
maybe the ecu sensed no oil and shut off automatically??????
. turn the crank probably like a 17mm or 19mm
then fill and try and start. if it starts then just fix the oil leak and yer good.
then do it again.
wrc style. catch some air

Just currious, cuz i cant believe that you would drive with a fucked oil pan while leakin oil if you knew what the consequences were.
