help guys I have been reading bout this seafoaming it sounds great but I have no I idea about what it Is for , how to do it , nor where to get the stuff also is there any danger from putting that in ur car

Go to www.audiworld.com and check the tech area there - I think they have a DIY procedure that shows you how to do it. Seafoam is a chemical you run through the engine's crankcase and vac lines to clean out oil sludge and crud. The only danger from it really, would be if you left it in the crankcase for too long - it could water down your oil and potentially hamper its ability to lubricate the engine. That's why you typically change the oil within 50 miles or so after adding it to the car. Search some more through the post history here and you'll find innumerable threads about it.

Or of course why not check out Seafoams web site before anything else. But its always easier to open mouth before thinking. Years ago we used to use Automatic transmission fluid, Type A and it does the same thing. Seafoams web site:

Yeah, the detergents in ATF are great. I have actually used it to clean my hands after particularly dirty work (ie, CV grease, etc). Use the ATF to get the worst of it off, and then use regular Fast Orange and water - cleans you up very well. It works great for the engine too.
