is there 2 different seafoams? one for gas n one for oil, or they both the same treatments?

they are both the same. the bottle will look like this.

the red silicone tubing is what i used to feed it through the vac line.

I'm in no way an experience mechanic. there are a few different writeups on the forums on how to do this. It is a little bit scary in theory but really is relativly easy. only do what you feel you are comfortable with.

You dont need to be an expert to do this. I would recomend everyone does it. All cars have/will get sludge at some time. The gimpy oil pick up screen in the oil pan should be a real motivator too.

Sorry, I'm sure there is somebody in NY that knows how to Seafoam. Alot of mechanics use it for cars all the time.

I put 1/3 of a can in my crank case and the rest in the gas tank yesterday.
Today, I had the oil changed and the engine runs very smooth. I would
recommend this, if your oil is gritty after 10K mi.

Its probably a good idea to change your plugs after you do the intake treatment too.

yeah, i did and would recomend it too. I used the NGK bkr-7e's. I still swear by this. It's been a few days and the car still feels great. I think that placebo effect might not apply here. Did you say that you've done this before onepoint8tee?
