Thanks for your help. The '98 has coil packs on each individual cylinder. I'll get a chance to get to a steep hill tomorrow morning and try that out. Now that you mention it, I almost doubt that it's an actual misfire issue but more of a boost issue. I installed the 710n exactly like the 710 came off and I rechecked it about 2 days ago and everything looked fine.
I should have my boost guage installed tomorrow morning. Could someone remind me what normal GIAC chip boost is? I've heard conflicting reports from 10-22psi. Thanks!

For the K03 chip, peak boost is 16-17 psi. May show up as 15 psi on your meter.
By letting the car struggle up a steep hill, you will simulate a high load condition on the engine. This will make a misfire more obvious. It's an old trick my grandfather taught me about 17 years ago.
