Sorry David..I cant help you..but if you dont mind me adding another question to your thread to the experts on AUDIforums.com...I was wondering if anyone knew how to keep the "rubber door" trims on my 99 2.8 quattro on properly..The ones near the rear left hand side passenger door are loose and i have to keep "clipping" them back on by pushing on them after long bumpy rides.
Could really use the help....thanks

Dont you just remove one screw and the trim moldings slide off? And the a4 does not come with sideskirts, only the s4 does. You may want to consider picking up some s4 skirts though, because your car is going to look like it has an overbite.

Owdi, you could probably find some thin 3M double sided tape or something to secure them from moving.

Sorry David, I'm a little confused. If the new bumper is being painted, why are you worried about the doors? If you could please rephrase the question I think I can answer it.

norcaltrojan, i was succesfull in removing the trim. i was afraid that the trim might be "glued" on, and i didnt want to have to pay to repaint the doors if i pulled paint off.
