RPM Signal Wire on 01 Audi A4???
Hi everyone. I just finished searching I have found that there are a ton of write ups on installing a HKS turbo timer on a VW but I have not found one that helps with the install on a 2001 Audi A4. The turbo timer actually comes on and it does it's count down but it doesn't keep the car running. I am in great need of answers to the questions below and if someone could help me out that would be awesome!
1) Where can I tap in to the RPM signal wire for the brown wire on my HKS Type 0 turbo timer?
I have tried tapping into the upper leftmost wire from the service connection right next to the hood lever but that is not working (has voltage but still does not keep the car running after the key is out of the ignition).
2) Where can I tap in to the Emergency Brake wire without running a wire all the way down the center console?
As of right now I have this wire (gray) grounded per HKS's recommendation.
Thanks!
Chris

Why dont you just tap the tack at the back of the cluster. Or follow the wires down to where they lead.
