Royal Purple?
Ok I already apologize if this has been asked before. I did a search and couldn't find a clear answer.
Anyways I have two questions:
1. Is Royal Purple a fully synthetic oil and is it safe to use in 1.8T engine
2. What is the best (if there is a best) oil filter to use.
Right now I use Mobil 1 Fully synthetic and I just wasn't sure if I should try Royal Purple just for the hell of it

RE: Royal Purple?
the top tier oil filters that you can grab at autozone and what not are going to be napa gold brand, purlator one and mobile 1. I'd like to say K&N too however they sacrafice some filtration for oil flow. Avoid Fram at all costs.
royal purple is a group IV base oil I blieve and is safe to use.

RE: Royal Purple?
i get amsoil for cheaper than i can get royal purple. and...
http://www.performancemotoroil.com/Dyno_test.html
http://www.enhancedsyntheticoil.com/..._vs_AMSOIL.htm
there was another link i had that had a chart for all the oils and listed viscosity index, flash and pour points, etc... and amsoil was at the top for 90% of the categories and #2 for anything they didn't place top in.
