I was in our university and raced a Mitsubishi lancer, gave him a whooping because its nothing but turns around here on snow. The drifting on corners in the middle of the night was wicked, and the little guy really didnt know how to work the 4wd properly.
I did the same to a subaru impreza (might I add, both these cars looked like they could hold their own, not a grandmas car) but our race just turned out to be a really cool way to show off infront of the girls than determining a clear winner.
Rally racing is a 15- 20 second charge, best way to pass the time ever.
Note- Ive randomly raced a bunch of people and now my rear hub bearings are worn to ****. Need replacing ASAP and its an Audi.... expensive.....

An Exhaust itself dosen't add alot of power, and an intake won't add any power. WRX's are similar to Audi's for the fact that engine managment generally adds a significant amount of power, and many people opt just for the EM first, and exhaust later. EM by itself adds about 30bhp, EM and exhaust adds about 50bhp.

I have both an 04 a4 quattro tip and and 03 wrx wagon. 03 stock wrx's typically are in the mid 14's with a full exhaust and intake probally low 14's high 13's depending on driver. I can see a modded 07 a4 beating a slightly modded wrx but not destroying one, unless the guy driving was an idiot or it was an auto because in wrx's the autos are dogs.

The tC also understeers like a bitch. I've had the chance to play with them a couple times and if you lift or lfb, you can get it to rotate, otherwise, you get terminal and somewhat unpredictable understeer. There is a guy in one of the local clubs who runs one at auto-x and with almost as many mods as I paid for my car, he got it to corner (aslo on race rubber.) But a stock tC with a fart pipe is no match for any Audi, let alone one with Quattro and someone who knows how to drive it

In my opinion stock for stock, the audi is not going to win. As far as the TC... yes, it is slowwwww
I love messing with TCs with my 1992 Civic.. I know the thread was made for the WRX but check out this video I uploaded last summer
Turbo is nice, but if you can go as fast with all motor.. why not?

Subaru's are crappy made cars, and if you go onto many forums, there will be just inconsiderate people insulting one another to prove they know more about a car thats ugly and poorly made... I had one and yes it was faster than my audi now, however that is with many mods, but overall the audi is just soo much better, plus subaru guys are over confident about their cars (which just suck)... sorry guys just venting about the terrible wrx... in the end audi's are the best choice for cars!!!
