Default Right Oil Filter? (pic inside)

is this the right oil filter? cuz i wanna me sure... no sludge for my baby...

couldent figure out how to load on the page... sry

oh yea, and has anybody had any trouble with Denso spark plugs?

Looks right I think... but I don't think it is the high capicity filter that audi now recommends.

That is the smaller size, which was superceded about 18 months ago. You want a VW 068-115-561B. (Your Bosch 3421 is a 06A-115-561B equivalent; how's that for confusing nomenclature?) If it will clear you left motor mount, a Purolator L40316 (made in Germany by Mann!) is an even bigger/better choice. Other folks like the NAPA/Wix 1333/51333.

The only thing I can add to John E's messsage is use a synthetic engine oil that meets ACEA A3 or A5.

yea, im usin castrol syntec 5w 50

just i want the right oil filter, so i dont hafta worry about this $h!i

Yeah well you can use that filter this time, but next time get the high capicity one from the dealer, if you can't find the purolator one.

As for your oil... audi recommends syntec 5w40... why are you using 5w50?

And I have denso Irridium's in my car now... IK20's or whatever they are... they work fine.
