Default Review: Mattman Enterprises Euro Plate

Well when i bought my A4 it had a tag holder already fastened to the front bumper.. well i wanted to take that off because i hated the way it looked.. when i did.. there were 3 huge holes in my bumper that looked worse than the tag holder..

i followed some peoples advice that i found searching through the boards.. and ordered a Euro Plate from Mattman Enterprises..
it arrived today and i couldnt be happier..

I paid $17+$12 shipping and it included the tag and the tag holder for the plate.. it covered up the old holes perfectly.. you'd never know they were there..

i reccomend this company to anyone looking for Euro Plates.. excellent quality.. cheap price..

and a pic.. b/c i know everyone will ask

crappy pic ..but had to snap it before going to work

I like...

I too have the issue w/ a pre-drilled bumper. I have a friend who plugged their holes w/ round "plugs" from auto zone, i am considering that route, and painting them silver to match my paint. However, I do like the look od the euro tags. How long did i take for the shipping from that site? The other Euro plate site (found it in the group buy section was saying 2-4 weeks. How long did it take for this site?

wow, talk about quick responce, i was about to edit to add an additional question...

did you have to add any new holes to the bumper? Or did the mounting plate just mount up fine w/ the 3 existing holes?

ya know im an idiot.. and didnt even think about using the originaly mounting bracket from the original tag holder.. until i got back inside and saw it lying on the floor.. but i dont think it would fit correctly using that original bracket..

the net tag needed to be screwed in on all 4 corners to hold the shape of the tag flush with the shape of the bumper.. so ya... i drilled 4 more holes in the bumper.. but doesnt really matter.. if i ever want to fix the holes.. 7 is as bad as 3

Has anyone on here ever put a normal US tag on top of their Euro tag? I've seen it done on the rear, but I'm wondering about the front.
I would really love the euro tags but my state (NJ) requires front and back tags.
Wish we could use Euro tags! They're a great look for audis.
