Replacing the cat
OK so I figured out the cat is definately the problem when i got home it was cherry red(not good) so I ordered it and need to replace it. How labor intensive is this job in my garage or would it be better to bring it to someone. Keep in mind if possible i would like to do it at home
Thanks

RE: Replacing the cat
I got a hi flo from lightning motorsports it was actually cheap only like $300 and change. I wish i could of affored something better but for now it will do. I just got the thing chipped and I havent felt the full power from the chip yet. So when this thing comes in I'm swapping it out and going for a rip. Plus i wont have to drive around the beater I'm driving now.(93 mazda B2600 pickup if you hit the gas the tranny goes into neytral for a second and then goes into gear. I tried racing a B6 a4 this morning and the guy looked at me and laughed like is this guy serious.)

RE: Replacing the cat
It says it flows 598 cfm but it was kind of vague i'll put it on and let you know how it feels i'm sure it will feel much better being mine is clogged right now but it should open it up being i also have the apr catback exhaust. Now i just need new wheels the stocks are looking real ugly I just have'nt decided what i like yet.
