I just got my oil changed to synthetic mobil 1 but I didnt change my oil filter
I wasnt to sure what I should get, from reading other forums theres alot of debate on the high low filters you can get from Audi itself
for my 98 2.8 Q 100,000 miles, which filter should i get? or should i just stay with the stock one?

 

I'd suggst using a good Bosch or Mann oil filter. You can get them on line for 6 dollars

 

Mobil1. Its a micro synthetic filter, much better than the paper filters.

 

mobil 1 started making a high compasity filter, thats the one use. i would just leave the filter on, just make sure you change it next time.
