there is no way it takes 6 hours for both wheel unless their taking long @$$ smoking breaks. its only a 1.5hour job assuming that nothing isnt rusted. trust me if you have an NTB neartheyll do it, if not tell them to call my NTB in naperville, Il, because thay can, easiest way to do it istake of the upright, pound off the old bearing, use a press for the new one, put back upright and align if needed.

if the dealership pulls the book time out and shows you, it can range from 2.5 to almost 4. if you get a dealer or indy vag shop to book less than 2.5 (per wheel,) you are lucky.
a small shop is your best bet. tapered wheel bearings arent really all that unique (another critical point: they can only go in one way - if you start it in the wrong way you are fuxored.) but, as i stated above, make sure your kit comes with a newcollar bolt, these are stretch bolts and can not be re-used and their torques is extremely specific!
yes, it can be done in much less time, but book time is book time.
