Total newbie here so pardon the lack of knowledge.

I had bought a a4 b6 about a year ago and never noticed the rear speakers were not working till now. It seems like the previous owner had a sub in the trunk and kept it with him when he sold the car, leaving me with no audio in the rear.

Here are the wires i found the the trunk http://imageshack.us/f/254/20130121100518167.jpg/ I'm guessing the large one is for battery and rca for the amp.

And here is a pic of the Original amp on the passenger side of the truck http://imageshack.us/f/593/20130121100542999.jpg/ I don't see any tampering with it.

So what do you make of this? I just want my original speakers working. Do you think he might have unplugged the original ones to use for the sub? if so, where it would it be located.

 

ya he probably put in a new wire harness too, luckly tho the most expensive part of after market stereo fitting is already done by him, just take it to a place that does car audio and act like your going to buy something, ask what amp and sub he would recomend for your wiring situation, then make up an excuse to not buy it there and get it all online wayyyy cheeper. there are plenty diy vids on how to connect that amp too the sub. ALso if you order your sub from crutchfeild.com they include a master sheet with step by steps on how to install.
