Default ran through a flood!1997 1.8t

i recently ran across some problems with my car during a flood.i hit an unexpected puddle which was pretty deep during a storm.i managed to drive pass through the puddle but after later noticed my car began to drive unusual.i pulled to the shoulder assuming that a tire blew, but all were intact. then i noticeda sound in the front passenge assuming my suspension was damaged. the car was able to turn on and off that produced a bad smell.its been three days and now the car no longer starts.im not sure what the problem is?blown engine?spark plugs?etc? any feedback would be much appreciated

hydrolock. you probably sucked water into your motor. does it crank over or do anything?

2nd that, not good if you hydrolocked.

try this, get some starter fluid( auto parts stuff not BBQ stuff), seafoam and oil and filter, and possibly a new air filter. replace the filter and spray started fluid into the intake it should start at that point, then run sea foam through the system to absorb as much moisture, then change oil to rid any contaminated oil. this is what we did when my mom STOPPED in a deep puddle.

Not hydrolocked, unless you drove through 4 feet of water. In which case your car would have stalled immediately. check for codes. It could be wet wires or a short circuit on some sensors
