Default Raised Plow

Hey guys, I live in NY city and have an audi A4 1998.5. About a couple of months ago i found that my car was hitting potholes harder than usual, it got to a point that it was unconfortable. I replaced the shocks and struts ( 115,000 k) with oem from dealer, but the car is still jamming into little potholes. These little bumps would usually not be notice. I here like a rattle in the front from the slightest pebble. Took it back to the mechanic a couple of times and they keep telling me that its not the shocks. Has any one felt this rattle when normal driving.

When the mechanic keep telling you its not the socks, you would think he would tell you what it actually was. What about Control arms?

I had them check the control arms and apparently they claim everything is fine. I ordered the Bentley repair manual, I will double check myself. Thanks for your sugestion!

Default Raised Plow

My original post had to do with the many raise plow signs in the city, and eventually that would lead to my suspension problem. I messed up !.

I went to an audi dealer and confirmed that the bushings on the control arms needed to be replaced....You were on the money, thanks again.
