Racetec FMIC is in!

RE: Racetec FMIC is in!
OK. Here's the last pic (for now). It shows some cutouts (circled in red) that I made to make the bumper fit like normal. The trapezoidal cutouts are really much bigger than need be. I could have gotten away with just a notch about the size of a quarter.

Jetta Red:
I had my Racetec FMIC installed yesterday and am having problems with the bumper fitting correctly. Am dying to see your pics but cannot open them. I'm logged into my MSN Pasport account, have turned off Pop-Up blockers and still no luck. What am I doing wrong??
Thanks,
Dave

RE: Racetec FMIC is in!
Got it this time & thanks!
Hope I can get mine to look as good as yours. Were you able to get the small pop out lower grill pieces trimmed enough to put them back in the bumper to cover the Racetec's inlet and outlet piping? It appears they are not installed in your photos?
BTW, I agree that 1/4" thinner would have made big difference.

Yes, I got the grills in. But, the passenger side is pretty thin so it looks in the picture like I don't have them.
