When I go to the website to order, what is the IE Manual Tensioner Conversion?

And I'm a future audi owner, soo this one is probably dumb, but what engine would I have if I had an 03 1.8t quattro. Is it an AMB? or whatever the other A yatta yatta is?

this tensioner deletes the existing tensioner damper, which is another fail point in the 1.8t timing belt system.

I Should Really get one of these my oem belt seems to wear a little too quick.. The engines in my MK3 golf just hope there was no serious damage done to the engine before i owned it
