Quick Question about Lowering/ camber??
I have a B6 A4 1.8T quattro..... i want to get 18 x 8 front rims and possibly 18 x 9 in the rear...if not 18 x 8 all the way around..
the question is If I get these springs....
http://www.racinglab.com/au20a4qus2w4.html
It will lower the car more than 2 inches front and rear....
how bad will the camber be...i know alot of honda's and such have camber bolts....what do i need....
or should i go with these
http://www.racinglab.com/au02a4qus4wd.html
this one lowers it a little less than 2 inches....
I need you help... i am buying rims and suspension around christmas time....I wanna get my S#!T together!!! thanks!!!

RE: Quick Question about Lowering/ camber??
yes your negative camber will be way out... your options are
1. find used CPP/STaSIS adjustable control arms since both companies stopped making them, (new were $550-$750) these also made noises and u had to keep them greased up, newer version had a rubber boot to keep grease in
2.Kmac camber bushings (camber plates wont fit a4 chassis) most installers have trouble with them since u have to install them, measure then tweak them... some said they wear out quickly
3.buy tires every 10-15k (the approach ive taken)

RE: Quick Question about Lowering/ camber??
u dunno man, i lowered my car a good 2.5-3inches, and my camber didn't really chage, i mean yeah it went out a bit, but its still not bad, but then again B5 > B6 lol, no thats a lie both are great, but is the suspension set up really that different ont h two cars?
+1 for "3.buy tires every 10-15k (the approach ive taken) "

RE: Quick Question about Lowering/ camber??
they are not the same links... same company...different drop sizes....on drops like 2.4" and the other 1.7" I was just showing both to see which would be the best to be picked......??
