Default Quick help on my Audi a4 Instrument cluster.....

For some reason my center instrument clust LCD is not showing anything...All it is showing are a few pixels here and there. And i have blinking yellow pixels in the top so its starting to make me worry...my check engine light in the RPM meter isnt on tho. I was wondering if there was a simple fix to these things or if i have to replace the instrument cluster. Maybe a blown Fuse or something?? If pics are needed i can take some. Its a 1998 audi a4 2.8L quattro. Any help will be appreciated! Thnx!

I think you have to replace it. And it's really expensive.

yep its a replace thing ( because its showing a few pixels means its working ) and most common fault is the strip connector to the LCD they loose contact due to heat/age/condensation

I think from the dealer they are $400 or so. Can't remember for sure though. And the yellow thing you are seeing most likely is your windshield washer fluid tank being low.
