had to go snap a pic real quick..
but, here is a comparison between a GTRSengine bayand my GT28RS enginebay. now these are extreemes, (since he actually has all the factory panels/covers. but just pay a mojority of your attentoin to the turbo portion of the bay)but this shows the difference. especially for people that have strick car moddinglimitations like in California where nothing visual can be different

RE: Question for the BT guys
im thinking a gt3076r or 3071r both with a T3 .63on a boost factory equal length manifold. Both spool the same but i can make far more power on the 76r but the 71r respools faster.
Arnold @ pagparts is trying to talk me into running his new gt35rst which is better suited for the 1.8t with a smaller turbine wheel. He said it makes 40whp more in some parts of the rev range and with the same peak and same total power potential. All this and no surge issues. But i think 375whp daily is enough for me and jsut over 400whp is plenty for having a good time.

RE: Question for the BT guys
Yep, fwd TT and all this will be in it. There are plenty of high hp vw's and im basically driving a luxury gti. I plan on taking the car down from just under 2900lbs to close to 2600lbs also. Should make for one very entertaining ride indeed. It will make me need a winter beater
