Default question about forge DV

i just put in a fmic and the DV I have is not fitting so well now. I heard that you can put the DV in backwards... I have the forge 006. Can I do that with this one?

Default RE: question about forge DV

Yup, you can. But they act different backwards. It can give you a little more lag, & make noises due to the compressed air is now pushing open the DV. You also got to make sure the DV will hold @ peak boost. You take a vacuum pump & put it on the DV, find out where it opens. If it's under your peak boost, you got to adjust it, to open right after peak boost.

If not, when you get into the boost, the pressure, will open the DV & leak out all the boost.
