lol noob please PLEASE go away you have no ****** idea what the hell you are talking about. .. WE are talking about fooling map sensors into thinking there is a certain amount of volts going to/from it. So umm yea shoo1!!

Just go into radio shack and ask for a 10k ohm 1/4 or 1/2 watt resistor...This is what you are looking for...They sell them in five packs for $.99
This tricks the ecu into thinking the outside ambient air is 0 degress pretty much all of the time..The ecu will respond by re-aranging the timing and fuel curve slightly to compensate for the "cooler" air temp..Quicker throttle response and slighly more power is what you can expect.

1. Radio Shack does NOT carry this diode.
2. It has NOTHING to do with air temperature.

Man I love you guys...lol..You are right I am a noobie to Audi...As far as the "diode mod",You are right I guess I should have asked what the mod was for before posting,I just figured It was for the infamous IAT Resistor mod....Lol..
