question about diode mod...
Im going to be doing this mod but i cant find the freakin diode's around town and im not spending 10+ bucks on diodes around the net. Anyone know of a elec store that has them .. radioshack doesnt have them. Thanks!

It would also help if you posted whereabouts you were, so maybe someone might be able to suggest a shop. Since you didn't, I'm going to assume you live on the South Shore of Massachusetts and recomend You Do It Electronics just off of 128 in Dedham.

Just go into radio shack and ask for a 10k ohm 1/4 or 1/2 watt resistor...This is what you are looking for...They sell them in five packs for $.99
This tricks the ecu into thinking the outside ambient air is 0 degress pretty much all of the time..The ecu will respond by re-aranging the timing and fuel curve slightly to compensate for the "cooler" air temp..Quicker throttle response and slighly more power is what you can expect.
