Question about custom intakes???

just unplug the neg terminal for like 30 seconds. have your radio code incase you need it. i never needed it but some poeple do

I was searching for Power Output Stage info and came across this thread. Here's my question. On my 2000 A4 1.8TQ, the Power Output Stage is totally missing from the top of my air cleaner box. There are two empty screw holes where it was apparently mounted at some point. I can't even find a loose wire that would have connected to it. Can this thing be mounted somewhere else? The car seems to run okay without it, except for a P1128 code I can't get rid of. Thanks.

i dont know if the 2000's had it or not

and your car wouldnt run at all without it

dont let it move around. it gets reallt hot, could melt some cables.

I secured it with zip ties.

ICM controls firing order on 97-99.5 models. Firing is controled by the ecu on 00+. There are 2 holes on the airbox because it probably saved the factorymoney to keep the orginal designof the top part of the airboxfor the remaining 2 years of the B5 chasis.

Yes, ther is no ICM on the 2000+, just the screw holes where it used to be.
