Default quest for more power...

OK, so over the past year I have dropped about $6,000 into my car worth of parts, 99% of them being show rather than go. I keep tellin' myself that I am done with it, and to start hunting for a damn crotch rocket, but the bug doesn't leave me. What do you guys suggest to make more power outta my 1.8t 2000.

I have:
BAILEY DV
NEUSPEED EXHAUST
APR CHIP 93 octane program

Please suggest something other than FMIC, because I don't have the bumper for it, and will never be able to afford a body kit.

Thanks in advance.

Short of a K04 upgrade, there are few things you can do.

How about port and polish the manifold, Upgrade the N75 valve to the N75 race valve.

get an electric fan kit, thats a pretty cheap mod if youre on a budget..short shifter won't give you any HP but will def make your car quicker (again, if youre on a budget, there's a free DIY for that)...i would p&p the manifold for sure, i don't know why more people don't do that

porting them gives them a larger inner diameter, and polishing them smooths out the inner surface (both are done to increase flow)

Testpipe, i noticed a difference with and i just got another one from eurocode for 179 shipped with a group buy. And i got my k04 from them for $695 shipped. Can you still get other APR programs, get the 100oct one if you dont wanna upgrade your turbo otherwise it would be better off going with GIAC if you wanna upgrade your turbo.

Spark plugs aren't going to increase your power unless your current ones are fouled.

Larger injectors aren't going to increase your power unless you change programming MAF or turbo.

I wouldn't go with an under-drive pully system
