The FWD A4 is slightly faster because it lighter in weight but the quattro A4 has better handling and traction

well because its lighter and because it doesnt have to rout the power through four wheels
But if you mod it to a certain point the quattro will be faster because it will have the traction that the 2WD wont

To a certain point exactly. But what about ATP 500+ hp FWD audi a4. Even the ATP gt28rs kit that they are selling they stated that traction is an issue for the QUATTRO. Id say mid to high 14s with the FWD there would be traction issues, not major issues but maybe stiffer suspension lower tire pressure hell maybe different tires. We will see soon enough, i just got my chip in the mail, and exhaust is next. I wana take it to the track in late september since in still ***** to the wall hot in the not too sunny florida.

Yea got he FronTrack junx! Personally id rather quattro any day but just bought my sisters instead of searching to find a decent A4, since i knew her A4 was maintaned good plus i think i got a decent deal. For what i have the car for though, id say it's perfect. Just an everyday back and forth to work car. OH ****, work is only 2 miles from my house. OH yea, supposedly some kid on VWVORTEX broke a 14.8 with a FWD A4, all he had done was giac chip, SS, EFK, snub mount, everything else was stock, not to bad IMO.

yeah, i've never been to a dragstrip, as far as driving. So it might take me a couple of times to get my RT down. Shouldn't be too hard.
