Default Quattro Fun in the Snow

she needs a bath and a trip to Burnaby Mountain for some other pix ... but wanted to share these ones

In comparison to my TSi AWD, the Quattro doesn't allow for as much 'out of control' sliding... which is a good thing. And I look a hell of a lot sexier in the Audi

How does she handle in snow?? I didn't realize how great Quattro was until I drove the dealer's new front-wheel drive A4 for 2 weeks. That thing lost grip on dry pavement with the slightest acceleration. I just got my older Quattro back, and found I could floor it in the slick rain (APR chipped and all) without any loss of traction.

if you got decent tires, she handles amazingly well. The quattro system really adapts well to slippage and focuses power to the wheels that have more grip. My TSi has an LSD but purely mechanical xfer case that divides power at 60%rear 40%front (approx.) FULL TIME... but quattro adjusts based on the conditions of traction and driver's action/reaction. Really, it's like drinking sparkling wine and then being given a glass of champagne. I love my A4

Awesome... this will be my first winter with my a4 quattro. That is one of the primary reasons I decided to go with this car. Can't wait until it snows!!! (forecast says 2 days!)
