you need to stop comparing it to the lude. you bought a luxury sport car. and 12hp doesnt make a big difference. if you are looking for power, sell the 2.8 and buy a 1.8T.

with the 1.8 you can chip it and get 50hp and around 50tq with apr, depending on the program ur running.
add exhaust and it makes it even better.

you can always put in a bigger turbo too! look around on some of the threads!

 

the 0-60 time is around 8.3 or more.... and for the last time they dont make a SC kit for a 12v, though someone here is designing one. There is nothing u can do to make ur 12v faster, sell it if u would like to see 60mhp sooner.

I am palning to do a SC and a kit, I'm developing one right now. It should put right at the tuned out 1.8. anywhoo, my car auto with FWD makes 9 - 10 sec to get to 60 MPH.

the quatro is a good launch, but you lose more power also for it. you got a luxuary car. Audi is a luxuarry for cheap. thats what it was, now well it is added power not for cheap.

so slogon of audi should be "luxuarry for cheap, power for money"

I bought a 98 2.8 awd a couple weeks ago and i agree its slow, thats why i bought one with the triptronic.. I didnt feel like shifting a slow car all the time.. a little honda c pulled up to me the other day and wanted to race and i decline because who likes to lose..lol..but just keep in mind that the audi is a way better looking and riding car. I owned a 93 probe gt 5 speed when i was younger and im pretty sure it would beat my a4..

 

AWD only helps on the lauch so youll see a much better 60' time and maybe a slight 1/8th time. But think of this each 100 pounds equal minus 10hp~.
