quarter mile for chipped 1.8T (2001)
I am considering getting a 2000-01 1.8T. Right now I have a summer and winter car, but I figure with an Audi I'll only need the Audi.
I'm just wondering what kind of speed I can get out of a 1.8T? Maybe chipped with an exhaust.
My teg should be in the 14's and I'm really not interested in going any slower.

I have multiple 15.4 slips with only a chip, and that's spinning all the way through first with an auto tranny. I'm pretty confident that with a chip, exhaust, a manual tranny and drag radials, a person could be hitting 14's without too much trouble.

Unless my car is just a freak, but I thought that was pretty standard times for being chipped. I just went to the import drags friday night and was beating up on all the ricers all night in the 15 sec. heads up class. One thing I can say about this auto tranny is it's probably the most consistant car I've ever driven.

I'm sure the FWD weighs significantly less and therefore he can run faster (even with less traction)
It sounds like a lot of work to get 14's in an A4 (After taking the hard way wiith my Teg, I'm looking for an easy rooute)
