anyone ever use lightwieght pullies? if so what do you think? especially interested if you drive a 2.8

well light weight pulleys take some load off the engine. i personally think they are too much work for wut they're gonna do. i mean for the 2.8 u gotta pull the whole front end forward to get to most of the pulleys. but if u got time then do it lol. also i think getting the ECU tuned afterwards would be a good idea too

They take away horse power. Search it you will find many threads on this.

it may add 2 or 3 horsepower. you wont feel the difference and definitely not worth the money. the labor is close to what a TB job would be

i thought about doing this as well and researched that it does not do to much performance to our cars so i probably wouldn't do it. if you've modded your car like crazy and are running out of options then it might be a descent idea if you dont pay someone to do it.

Make's alot of sense to do it at the same time but the only thing I could think of it helping is less weight means less wear on the motor or in most cases any bearings that they might come in contact with. To keep it short no power increase that came be felt but might be able to get a few extra thousand miles out of the motor if god willing that is.
