Default Process of buying an A4, help please?

Hey guys, complete noob. I'm about to buy an A4 and I was wondering if you guys could help me out with a couple of questions. I hope you guys don't mind, I would really appreciate it. [ posted this in New Members too ]

1. I'm looking at this '07 A4 Quattro with 18k miles but the Carfax said it was a Corporate Fleet Vehicle, one owner. I asked the sales guy (Riverside Audi, NJ) what that exactly means and he said it means it's an Executive Demo. But I googled "corporate fleet vehicle" and it seems like it can also mean it was owned by a car rental company like Hertz. Would you recommend not purchasing corporate fleet vehicles?

2. Two CPO cars I'm choosing between so far:

A. 2007 A4 3.2T Quattro - 18k miles - Nav/Bluetooth/Convenience packages = $31k (5.9% interest) Corporate Fleet vehicle

B. 2006 A4 2.0T Quattro - 8.5k miles - Nav/Bluetooth/Tech/Premium packages = $27.5k (2.9% interest) Return from Lease (One owner)

I'm not rich but I'm not going to have to scrape pennies for Option A, but do you guys think the 3.2T and 1 more year of warranty is worth $3.5k and 10k more miles? Looking for most bang for my buck. Any help would be really great. I hope to be purchasing soon and be coming here often. Thanks!

Its a 3.2 not a 3.2t, no turbo in it just a V6. You many of gotten the T from Titianum package

Both have similar styling, and are Quattro. I would say go with the 2.0t since Its cheaper for you, lower milage (though not by much) and if you do later down the road want to do preformance mods there are significantly more for it.

My mother works for Carfax. ACorp. fleet vehicle. It could be a car that employees drive at a company from the lowest ranking guy up to the CEO. This does not mean there is anything wrong with the car. If ya don't already have the full carfax report, give me the vin, and I can look at it for ya and give you some more advice.....

also, If you do not plan on modding your car, I would buy the 3.2It has many better features compared to the 2.0, and some good power to boot.

Thanks a lot, advice would be awesome. I left the VIN info at work so I'll have to post it tomorrow. I was pretty happy when I negotiated the 3.2 pricing because they offered me a lot more for my trade-in than the 3 other dealers I went to ('06 Lexus IS250 AWD). I thought I was getting a much better car, but the fleet vehicle made me stop. I don't think I'll be doing any real mods, so I don't think that matters too much.

I really hope this car doesn't suck, because I want it!

Hey 01A4T, the VIN # is WAUDH78E97A054644. Any help you mentioned would be really great. If this was a corporate employee leased car that's one thing, but if it was a rental agency's car, I think I'll pass. Thanks!

Quick calc I dont know how the interest works where you come from but with the 5.9% you end up paying a $1100 something more than the 2.9% and the 06 is a turbo, in my opinion not work spending 4.5k more just to get a one year younger car with a year extra warranty. You can purchese warranty at an additional charge for like 3 years for about $2200 once again depending on the dealer. I would go with the 06 2.9%interest and negotiate the price probably down to like 25-26g's depends how good you are at negotiating. PM me the location of the car and a 1800 number and I will call them for you on the same car and talk to them, I negotiatet my car down 7.5g's
