Problems with airbag light

Problems with airbag light
I own an a 1996 A4. About 8 weeks ago a passenger moved the seat backwards
and the airbag light luminated on the dash. I took it to the local garage
who tested it and said the wiring had probably been disturbed. The passenger
seat airbag was identified as the problem. It was reset and the light went
out. However the problem has returned. I have checked the connectors under
the seat and all seems well. Is this a common problem and if so is there a
long term solution?
