Altitude issue for not wanting to start? It did it in eastern Idaho/Utah and Wyoming...not sure how much elevation change there is there but there is some.

But the CEL issue has been since before I made the drive. I just put a new cap on today, I'll see if the light goes away.

 

where in co are u, cus denver is 5500 feet

 

I'm in Colorado Springs, just over 6000 feet. Came from Mountain Home, ID at 3100 feet. Stopped once somewhere in eastern Idaho, then somewhere in the middle of Wyoming, and again in Denver. It would only do it after 2+ hours of straight driving. I'll find out if it's the elevation or not when I continue on to North Carolina next week.

 

imo i would find out what it is before u drive to north carolina thats a long drive. there are a few audi stealerships in co maybe take it there for the night

 

Where are you going in NC? I drove from Colorado to NC 4 times now...Kansas sucks.

 

EVAP purge system. On my car the problem was with the one way vacuum valve attached to the purge valve. The plastic valve had rubbed against a metal clip and had worn through. Fixed that and my starting issues after fueling went away.
