he also said he was barely hitting v-tech but he was rolling at 40mph in second gear so his rpm's must of been up there and v-tech on his car kick's in at 5k

Hes full of crap... You know he was doing everything in his power to beat your audi.. Another one bites the dust...
Honda's have NO torque and you have lots, and the more torque you have, the more useable hp there is... Hes got to push his honda to the limits to see any power. Race him from a stop and it will be even more funny.

Hmm, I drove my friends Prelude and they are pretty fast. I'm kinda shocked you won cuz our cars are pretty heavy. And yea V-Tek hits around 5-6K rpms. Hes prolly Bs'in about the short shifting. Just race him again.

he also said he was barely hitting v-tech
WTF does that mean???? He sounds like he's not too bright and doesn't even know how to drive his own car, yet alone know how the engine works.

Vtech is variable valve timeing, and the timing varies throughout the rpm range, to give you better fuel economy in the lower rpm, and more power in the higher rpm. But at 5k he should be getting the most power.

He is CLUELESS
