Default Power Steering fluid

Hii all,

I recently brought pentosl power steering fluid, i want to fill this, do i have to remove the previous power steering fluid before filling this and if so, is it feasible for me to do on my own.

What tools do i need.

Thanks,
Ram.

You can top off your old power steering fluid very easily. The fill cap is on the drivers side near the headlight. Should be labled "mineral oil only", or something like that. By pentosl, you mean Pentosin 11s right?

right behind ur front bumper on drivers side there line comming down from there, its powersteering u can dissconect the rubber hose from the metal line where they meet up at and it should drain a good amount.........only reason i know is cause it use to leak from this spot on my car.

Or you could use a turkey baster to enpty it out. I think to completely flush the system you shoud remove some , then refill, start cat, turn wheels to make fluid circulate, remove some , then re fil and repeat until only new fluid is in the entire system.
