PLEASE help! Do you need new struts with new springs
i couldnt get a straight answer earlier and i need to know this before i purchase springs tonight! Do you NEED aftermarket struts when you purchase aftermarket springs. Im planning on getting springs that lower the car 1.7". Keep in mind, I already have the sport suspension on my car. Thanks, and any....i mean ANY comments or suggestions would help!

You do not NEED struts for new springs but the stock struts WILL wear out in a short time, but the springs SHOULD fit on your stock struts.

but the stock ones will last only months.. so you might as well just buy them and get them installed along with the springs... to save on the labor, or having to tear your car apart again
