Default Pictures of my new exhaust (Magnaflow 14851s)

I got them on yesderday, Lou’s Custom Exhaust in North Reading did it and I could not be happier. The cost was $150 and they did a great job, they are lined up nicely and they replaced the hangers with stiffer ones so the muffler will not bounce as much and hit the bumper. They sound amazing, just what I was looking for, smooth and deep tone, but not too loud or annoying. They do not drone when cruising either, even on the highway, basically they sound great without ruining the luxury/class aspect of the car. I love the tone of this thing now, and it makes the back end look so aggressive, I was worried the 4” tips might look too big, but they fill the cutouts nicely, those stockers looked like straws in there! Here are some pictures, let me know what you think.

Thanks, I will try to get a few soundclips and post them up, it of course wont do them justice, you can listen to a few at this link http://www.youtube.com/results?searc...;search=Search
But they sound much different/better than that in real life, it is hard to capture the deep/bassy tone of them on a camera.

They do look great, I'm probably getting my exhaust done by Lou's also because I'm in North Andover. I'm putting the 14815's I think they are on my 1997 2.8 and from what I've heard on you tube and such they sound amazing, I'm guessing you had the magnaflows before you got them installed because $150 would be the most insane deal I've ever heard in my life for the set up. And also did you go full custom or just the magnaflows on stock piping?

Yes I had the mufflers, I paid $190 for both of them, so a total cost of $340, which is still good I think. And I just got the mufflers put on, I did not mess with the rest of the system or resonators. I wanted to keep it quiet.

I went to the Lous in Boston, I would definitely recommend them, they gave me a great deal. You're mufflers look great.

We really ought to get a Boston Audi Club.. or atleast bostonaudi.org active again.
